The McDaniel Institute of Anti-Aging Research is dedicated to both the discovery and testing of the latest innovations, theories and techniques for skin rejuvenation, anti-aging and longevity in both the laboratory and clinical research environments. The Institute has tested many of the latest cosmeceuticals in both the cellular environment and in human clinical trials for industry leading corporate sponsors.
Dr. McDaniel was involved in the development and FDA approval of some breakthrough medical devices including the original CO2 laser skin resurfacing device, the early laser hair removal devices, microdermabrasion technology and the first FDA cleared medical and home use LED devices for wrinkle reduction.
He was also involved in the development and/or testing of some of the leading super potent antioxidants on the market today.

Our Goals
The goals of the McDaniel Institute of Anti-Aging Research are to:
- Identify and investigate novel cosmeceutical compounds for gene expression changes that may combat clinical conditions.
- Aid the design of new formulations and products through application of sound scientific testing principles and clinical techniques
- Develop new techniques or applications for current techniques to aid in the reduction of the symptoms of photoaging and other skin disorders.
- To generate valuable metrics involving data collection through such methods as: skin elasticity, skin permeability, moisture levels, sebum levels, redness/irritation quantitation, brownness/pigment change detection, wrinkle reduction, pore size, and including a variety of clinical labs (even requiring blood draws); and pre and post images for a variety of scientific and marketing uses.
The staff of the McDaniel Institute of Anti-Aging Research has training in a wide variety of disciplines encompassing basic science and clinical research skillsets.
