Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Treating Hair Loss with Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
We are pleased to offer Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for treating hair loss. At the McDaniel Laser and Cosmetic Center, we deliver highly concentrated and purified Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) using a state-of-the-art filtering and concentration device. PRP possesses various growth factors which may contribute to the regeneration and renewal of cells. PRP is isolated through a process called centrifuging. This causes the separation of blood components using a rapidly rotating device container. Upon PRP activation, numerous growth factors are released, playing a role in promoting wound healing and tissue regeneration and potentially stimulating hair growth.
