NEW Laser Resurfacing of Stretch Marks
Stretch marks are clinically called striae distensae. Until recently, very little could be done for stretch marks. Historically, the only reliable way to eliminate stretch marks was to surgically remove them (for example, with a tummy tuck), which left scars of its own. Then, in 1996, Dr.McDaniel reported that a pulsed-dye laser (PDL) could successfully treat stretch marks1.
