PaloVia® Skin Renewing Laser
PaloVia® Skin Renewing Laser® is a fractional skin rejuvenating laser designed specifically for home use. It is the first fractional laser cleared by the FDA for home use, clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes. Used in the privacy of your own home, PaloVia requires only 3 or 4 minutes daily and produces visible results in a month. After the first month, maintenance treatments are typically advised twice weekly. Clinical studies have demonstrated continued improvement over 4 months. Additional regular or periodic maintenance treatments may be continued and this is best discussed with your dermatologist or cosmetic surgeon as part of your individualized long term anti-aging or skin rejuvenation plan.

Originally, laser skin resurfacing required a week or two of wound care and healing. Dr. McDaniel and his team in Virginia Beach helped pioneer the original CO2 laser skin resurfacing many years ago with what was then groundbreaking technology using the Ultrapulse CO2 laser. Fractional laser resurfacing was developed to minimize the down time and discomfort of these original “ablative” resurfacing procedures as well as to avoid the potentially significant side effects. Fractional laser resurfacing has emerged as one of the gold standards for skin rejuvenation for wrinkles, photoaging and acne scarring. The devices used in physicians’ offices today are very effective with minimal side effects, and when properly used, the right fractional laser devices can treat skin of any color.
